Course Description:
This course will provide you an overview of the different types of fully adhered water resistive barriers. In addition, the course will provide you the following:
- Minimum code requirements
- Understanding of water resistive barriers
- Understanding the differences between fully adhered v mechanically attached underlayments
- Design and application considerations
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the best practices related to protecting, waterproofing residential building sidewalls from severe weather conditions.
- Learn what are the typical minimum code requirements that fully adhered water resistive barriers used in residential building envelope waterproofing systems have to meet.
- Gain an understanding of Water Resistive Barriers and differences between - Fully Adhered - Mechanically attached underlayments
- Develop an understanding of the of the different types of water resistive barriers in the market today as well as the differences in products that are considered fully adhered.
