This course spotlights fully-adhered flexible flashing products, their applications and their advantages. The course will review how flexible flashing tapes: - Defend against weather conditions - Improves the health, safety and welfare of any project and its occupants thanks to improved moisture management.

Learning Objectives:

  • Work to develop a comprehensive understanding of the best practices related to protecting, waterproofing residential building envelopes from severe weather conditions.
  • Gain understanding of flexible flashing options and the differences between Asphalt based, Butyl/Acrylic based, and Mechanically attached flashing
  • Learn what the typical minimum code requirements are that fully adhered flashing tape products have to meet.
  • Gain understanding of the where these should be installed.
