Course Description:
"After a brief review of Part 1, the basics of sustainable design practice are reviewed:
Energy efficiency, looking at insulation, ductwork, the building envelope, and green roofing.
Water efficiency, plumbing systems and irrigation.
Materials, durability, recycling, and interiors.
Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), VOCs, and air quality systems.
Advanced areas of sustainable design such as renewable energy and storm water utilization.
